Self-Drive Adventure to Discover the Hidden Side of Evia
An unforgettable journey through breathtaking landscapes, discovering the hidden gems of Evia, from secret waterfalls to wild beaches on the Aegean Sea!
We’ll start with a meeting with our Tour Leader in Karystos, then drive our own vehicles through stunning winding roads with breathtaking views to reach the village of Platanistos (about 22 km), where our expert local guide will be waiting for us.
From there, we’ll take a beautiful walk through a lush valley, following the trail along the river, passing ancient bridges, abandoned rural buildings, and old deserted schools, until we reach the majestic waterfalls (about 1 hour of walking).
A refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters is simply irresistible! After enjoying some relaxation and fun, we’ll get back in our cars and continue our journey through stunning landscapes until we reach a magnificent wild beach, overlooking the Aegean Sea—the Sea of the Gods (about 30 km).
Free time to enjoy the sun, the sea, and total relaxation! Those who wish can have lunch in a charming seaside tavern, tasting delicious local specialties.
At 17:30 we’ll enjoy a refreshing aperitif on the beach, the perfect ending to an unforgettable day before heading back home.
