With our day trip, "Treasures of Argolis," you can explore the natural and historical riches of Argolis, a region of Greece. You'll depart comfortably from your hotel in central Athens and head towards Argolis, passing through the Corinth Canal, where you'll stop for a quick photo opportunity.
You'll head to the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus, still home to important festivals and classical theater performances. The Theater of Epidaurus is world-famous for its perfect acoustics.
You'll stop in Nafplio, a picturesque town and ancient capital of Greece, adorned by the imposing Palamidi Fortress.
You'll then arrive in Mycenae, where you can visit the evocative archaeological site, home to the mythological Tomb of Agamemnon, with the Lion Gate, the Cyclopean Walls, and the Royal Tombs.
After lunch at a traditional restaurant (optional), you'll return to Athens in the evening.
Full-day excursion departing from Athens (departure at 7:30 AM and return at 7:00 PM) every Monday and Friday from March 6th to November 3rd.
