Athens city tour by bus that offers you the opportunity to appreciate the charm of Athens while capturing its striking contrasts.
Our Italian-speaking guide will lead you on an engaging tour of the city center, including Constitution Square (Syntagma), the Parliament, the Monument to the Unknown Soldier, and the National Library. The tour will continue along Herodes Atticus Street, where you can observe the 'Euzoni', soldiers in their colorful uniforms, before reaching the Presidential Palace.
Along the road leading to the Acropolis, you'll pass Hadrian's Arch, the Temple of Jupiter, and make a brief stop at the Panathenaic Stadium, site of the first modern Olympic Games (1896).
Once you reach the Acropolis, your tour will unfold among the architectural masterpieces of Athens' Golden Age, including the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, and the Parthenon. Your tour will continue with a visit to the National Archaeological Museum, which houses a vast collection of ancient artifacts, making it one of the most important national museums in the world.
