Alla scoperta del sito archeologico di Delfi, "l'ombelico del mondo" per gli Antichi Greci e dello spettacolare, emozionante ed unico complesso delle Meteore, le falesie di pietra con monasteri bizantini arroccati sulla cima. Partenze garantite minimo 2 persone, ogni mercoledì da Atene dal 08/03 al 02/11.
Departure for Delphi along the national highway and passing by the picturesque village of Arachova, built downstream of Mount Parnassos and known for the craftsmanship of carpets and colored quilts.
Arrival in Delphi, visit to the Archaeological Site with the Athenian Treasury, the Temple of Apollo and the beautiful Museum.
Free lunch and departure for Kalambaka, a small town that develops in the valley of the amazing Meteora complex.
Dinner and overnight.
Visit to the Meteore in a unique setting, on the top of enormous granite rocks, as if suspended in the sky, stand unique examples of Byzantine art: the Ageless Monasteries of the Meteore, which preserve fantastic historical treasures inside and religious. After free lunch in Kalambaka return to Athens and short stop at Thermopylae' and at the Leonidas Monument.
Arrival in Athens in the afternoon.
Note: For the visit to the Monasteries it is required, such as clothing, a short-sleeved shirt and knee-length skirt for the ladies and long trousers for the gentlemen.
