The arrival
Arrival at Zakynthos airport, welcome to the island known as the “Flower of the Levant”.
Welcome and head north-east, reaching the village of Amoudi. Followed by check-in and welcome dinner by the sea. To conclude, we will take a walk in Tsilivi, a lively village where we will have the opportunity to sip a good drink. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
Zakynthos
Breakfast at the hotel, relax and excursion to the Desert Coast and the Great North (80km)
A morning of relaxation and free time. In the early afternoon we move to the northwest coast, in the town of Porto Vromi-Anafonitria, where we will set sail to discover the wildest and least frequented coast of the island. Here we will make 2 swimming stops in the splendid blue waters that characterize the area (which we call the Blue Lagoon!) and sailing along the coast, we will visit the blue caves, whose crystalline waters reflect an intense blue, creating a magical and unique atmosphere.. Return to the hotel, special dinner and overnight stay.
Zakynthos
Breakfast at the hotel and in the afternoon departure to explore the center of the island (130km)
Relaxing morning on the beach below the hotel, lunch by the sea (optional, not included) and departure for the Hidden Zante excursion, where we will discover the most authentic and less known part of the island. Exo Chora, Gyri and Loucha are just some of the villages that will take us back in time…
Followed by an aperitif at sunset on the magical cliff of Exo Chora and then continue with a typical Greek dinner in a Taverna on the cliff. Arrival at the hotel and overnight stay.
Kefalonia
Breakfast at the hotel, departure towards Kefalonia (30km).
During the journey, we will admire the suggestive eastern coast of the island of Zakynthos overlooking the Ionian Sea. In the background we will notice our destination, the incredible island of Kefalonia. We will have the opportunity to stop at the best panoramic points and then reach the port of Agios Nikolaos. Boarding the ferry that will take us to discover the largest island of the Ionian Islands. Stop along the coast in the bay of Ammes beach with lunch (optional, not included). Followed by check-in, walk in the alleys of the capital Argostoli, dinner and overnight stay.
Kefalonia
Breakfast at the hotel and departure towards the Great North and the Lixouri peninsula (130km).
Departure towards the north of the island, walk through the alleys and the small port of Fiskardo and then go down to the picturesque village of Assos. Afterwards we will see Myrtos beach from the panoramic point, lunch stop (optional, not included). We continue entering the Lixouri peninsula with a relaxing stop at Petani beach (one of the most beautiful beaches on the island), we go down along the coast of the peninsula to take the ferry that from Lixouri will take us back to Argostoli. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
Itaka
Breakfast at the hotel and departure towards Itaka (55km)
Departure towards Sami, where we will embark to discover the magical island of Itaka, a picturesque island famous for its legendary history linked to Homer's Odyssey and for its mountainous landscapes and natural beaches. Free time to discover the most hidden corners of this jewel, lunch on the sea in the town of Vathi (optional, not included). During the cruise we will make two swimming stops from the boat in the most beautiful corners of the island. Return to the hotel in the evening, dinner and overnight stay.
Agios Gerasimos
Breakfast at the hotel and then we explore the center of the island (100km)
We leave for the center of Kefalonia, where we will visit the Monastery of Agios Gerasimos, a place of worship and spirituality, dedicated to the patron saint of the island, immersed in a breathtaking landscape and rich in history. Afterwards, we will visit Lake Melissani, a suggestive underground cavity. The light that filters through an opening in the ceiling creates spectacular plays of colors, making it one of the natural wonders of the island. We continue with a visit to the Drogarati Caves, majestic natural cavities, characterized by impressive stalactites and stalagmites, which offer a fascinating underground experience. On the way back to Argostoli, stop for lunch (optional, not included) and a swim at the beach of Makris Gialos. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
National Marine park and departure's day
Packed breakfast and return to Zakynthos to explore the south of the island (55km)
We leave early at 7:00 towards Pessada, where we embark to return to the island where Ugo Foscolo was born.
Arrival in Agios Nikolaos and we go down the coast to the bay of Laganas. Morning dedicated to visiting the Marine Park, a splendid bay where by boat, we will go to discover the Caretta-Caretta turtles, the Caribbean island of Marathonisi and the incredible stacks of Keri. Two stops for swimming in the splendid waters and return to the port of Agios Sostis, we move for lunch (included) in a typical tavern. In the afternoon we leave to discover the capital, Zante Town, where we will get lost in the alleys and retrace the history of the island. After a pita gyros or a souvlaki to stop the appetite, we reach the airport of Zakynthos where our tour will end!
